HH Hiaasen (b. 1992, Baltimore; lives and works in Richmond, Virginia) is an interdisciplinary artist and educator whose work and life have been irrevocably transformed by the loss of a parent to a mass shooting. They work to ventilate invisible, emotional, and queer labor into public spaces. They have performed and exhibited at venues including Freie Universität Berlin; Yale School of Art, New Haven; The Poetry Project, New York; and the Leslie Lohman Museum of Art, New York. In 2016, they launched Ventilated Workwear, a conceptual anti-uniform line that evolved into a yearlong, financially sustainable performance piece. In 2018, Press Press published their Ventilated Workbook, which is now in the collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art Archives. They currently serve as a full-time professor in Graphic Design at Virginia Commonwealth University. They are a recipient of a 2025 Virginia Museum of Fine Art Fellowship.
