PENT UP Installation and durational performance

A collection of presses, releases, brushes, pushes, rubs, scratches on a selection of in-between words plucked and rearranged from intimate text conversations. Words were constructed from upholstery foam, quilt backing, industrial felt, and memory foam. Eight performers were directed to contact the words using their hands, feet, elbows, and knees or the accompanied microphones. Microphones were available at both ends as a tool to activate ASMR sensations.
